Law of Attraction Myths – Myth #4

June 7, 2019 By //  by Xander

Feeling good is the most important thing. Your overall state is an important thing. First, fix your state before you try to fix the external world.

That’s a good and workable principle to live by. The misunderstanding comes with people who think they have to get a fix of excitement all the time in order to manifest or feel good. Life comes in waves, and it is not advisable to try to stay “high” all the time. More often it’s the way you handle lows that reveals your true overall state. It’s not all about the temporary states you have. You attract into your life what you radiate the most. Feeling good is important but its not the most important thing.

I’ve seen a lot of people accomplish fantastic things because they didn’t feel good. They were hungry and seeking a higher feeling. They used this dissatisfaction to manifest something. So there is merit to feeling good and not feeling good. Each has its own purpose.

Reality Creation and Manifestation – Frederick Dodson

At one time in my life I lived by the need for a fix of excitement. I can honestly say it was fun and I learned a lot. That state does have its appeal. I can also honestly state that it lost its appeal when I examined it more closely. The constant need for more and more to get the same “high” got old and unsustainable. I realized that I had lost the ability to appreciate and enjoy the more mundane aspects of life. Simple things like the beauty of a sunrise or the laughter of a child held no real spark for me. It came to me that although happy, it wasn’t at a deep level and if I really wanted to be that happy person I needed to get rid of my addiction to being “high”.

The manifestation state comes from who you are inside, not at the surface. So using the energy I got from all the excitement honestly got me very little progress. Where the power derives from, is who you are inside, on a deeper level. All that excitement I craved was actually a really clever and fun way to mask that I didn’t really like myself very much. I didn’t really think I had much to offer anyone else or society if I wasn’t the thrill seeker or the “bad boy”. You know the type. In my day it was the leather jacket wearing, motorcycle riding, laissez-faire type that partied all the time and did really outrageous things. It sure got the girls but it had no deeper meaning or purpose and I knew it.

There is a long story here about how I turned that around but I won’t get into that. It is much too involved for a short blog post. Suffice it to say that I had a “Come to Jesus” meeting with a higher power. It wasn’t Jesus but “Come to the Field” meeting just doesn’t hold the same image. I was lucky that I was given a vision and reason to change. Hopefully, I can save someone from having to go where I did to get that.

Who you are inside, deep down where you don’t want to look is where you manifest from. It is also who you are on the spiritual plane. It is who you really are. Using thrills, parties, drugs or alcohol to prevent you from looking there isn’t helping you and most of you know that. If you really want to manifest your destiny you have to change yourself at your core. Once that change is made then you really do “feel good” and things begin to happen.

This process of change is life long and I don’t know if you ever actually get there, I know I haven’t yet. I also know that the people I have talked to who say they have … they haven’t really looked lately. The bright side to this is you cross a point where happiness, true happiness becomes the norm instead of the exception. You honestly do feel good at an emotional level. You are no longer afraid to look deep inside. I am not saying what you find there is always something you are happy about, but you aren’t afraid to look. This is where you, become you and the magic begins.
