This week is quieter than it has been in a while. I think we will all be grateful for the break, I know I am. Things have been a little too chaotic for my taste.
On the 28th the Moon moves into Pisces. This is a good placement for the Moon. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and the Moon and Jupiter get along well. The Moon is emotional and Jupiter enhances those with its benefic presence. This time will have you feeling good and generous toward others. Petty irritations don’t bother you, and it might seem like everyone is just a little bit better behaved than normal.
Your heart might long for a deeper understanding of life and its meaning. It might have you wanting to delve deeper into your own heart and mind. This movement could also have your intuition working overtime.
Whether you feel like being out among people, or retreating at home to ponder the deeper meanings of life, you will feel good about yourself and your accomplishments.
On the 30th the Moon moves into Aries. This is an action-oriented time. Watch out for impulsive behavior, Aries is decisive, but can act too quickly. Think things through. This position could have you a little defensive, and prone to arguments, especially at home and toward strong female figures in your life.
Mars is the ruler of Aries. When the Moon and Mars get together, small things can seem larger than they are. You might be so hellbent on exercising your own will that you run roughshod over those you care about.
This is the perfect time to break old habits, or step out of something that hasn’t served you well. If you need a boost of confidence, bravery, or a little extra oomph to your will to act, the Moon in Aries will certainly give you that lift.
Mars is in opposition to Saturn from the 26th of June to the 6th of July. The exact opposition is on the 1st of July. For Aries and Scorpios who are ruled by Mars this transit might have a greater effect than for the rest of us. For those whose Moon is in those signs it could hit you just as hard. This can be a strongly irritating transit. You might be justifiably irritated and although you may not immediately act on it, the “slow burn” will eat at you. Others might have an ability to hit you in your soft spots right now. Or you might feel like they are purposefully punching your buttons. It is important to calmly express how their actions have hurt you. Holding it in will only fester over time. Be kind, you aren’t the only one irritated right now.
This is a good time for work that requires a great concentration of energy. This transit signals a time to finish things that are near completion, and Saturn gives you the mental clarity to accomplish that.
This transit can signal illness, so it isn’t a good time to stress your body unnecessarily. Relax and avoid situations that cause needless anxiety. Physical tension during this transit can be debilitating and harmful to your health.
Right on the heels of this transit is Mars square Uranus on the 3rd. As with anything involving Mars, you might be feeling the need to rebel and push against restrictions placed on you. This is likely to be focused on authority figures from your past and/or close relationships. If you have the unconscious need for change then this transit could be explosive. If you are aware of your need and already working toward change, then this could just put a little more wood in the fire to get it taken care of.
Just in time for July 4th we have the Moon moving into Taurus. This is an excellent time to be social. You radiate warmth and love toward others. Go out and meet with others, have them over to your house. This is a good time to beautify your home although you might spend more money than you intend.
This placement leans toward overindulgence, so while it is a great time to get out and about with friends and loved ones, be careful to not over do. Enjoy yourself is the theme of this placement, so take advantage while you can.
Keep in mind the backdrop of two Mars transits lasting through the holiday. Irritation with others could be just under the surface. While the Moon in Taurus can help moderate the irritation, it might be best to do the planning yourself. Having a few friends over or a BBQ in the back yard isn’t worth a battle, or the potential of getting sideways with friends and family. Plan it yourself and let them come and enjoy the day.
